Each therapy session takes about 45 to 55 minutes.
Sessions start with the initial meeting to get to know you and gather information about difficulties that you are facing with. Depending upon the issue, I will help you set goals for therapy and then move forward to find the piece of a puzzle that is missing in your life.
During counseling sessions you would not be judged or blamed. I use variety of counseling theories and techniques to help you become insightful and find the resolution that works for you. At the end of a session, I would ask you to name the session. These are examples of the names clients have given to their sessions: Optimism, Joy, Strength, Aware, Hope, Solution, Choice.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and the Empty Seat technique are a few examples of what I use during sessions.
